Job Title: Air Traffic Control Instructor

We are seeking an experienced Air Traffic Control Instructor to join our team at the Dallas Love ATCT (DAL) in Dallas, TX. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to air traffic controllers and ensuring they meet the FAA's standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver classroom and simulation laboratory training to air traffic controllers
  • Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPOs)
  • Participate in curriculum design and development
  • Interface with FAA personnel to ensure training services meet facility and FAA needs
Requirements:
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
  • Minimum 5 years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or recent experience as a contract Instructor at an FAA facility
  • FAA Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification and ability to obtain Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory and Classroom Certification
Desired Skills:
  • Direct experience as a Certified Professional Controller (CPC) at the Dallas Love ATCT (DAL)
  • Operational experience with ATC simulators and scenario design
  • Excellent teaching and platform skills, classroom management techniques, and student-focused drive for continuous improvement
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • FAA Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification required
