Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse II in our Transplant Care Unit, you will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level. You will work under general supervision to deliver safe and effective care, interacting with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing solid organ transplants, including pre- and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on transplant care best practices.

Requirements:
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
