The Case Management Team Leader is tasked with overseeing the daily functions of their assigned department, which may encompass various roles such as human resources, client support, and limited sales oversight.

Must reside in Colorado.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a designated team of employees in their routine operations
  • Ensure the quality of services rendered
  • Handle human resources issues pertinent to the supervised department
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during work hours in alignment with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
  • May require overnight travel and attendance at meetings
  • Conduct regular reviews of various reports, invoices, logs, and expenses
  • May involve limited marketing and sales responsibilities
  • May oversee clinical case management activities, depending on the qualifications of the unit manager
  • For supervisors without RN credentials, clinical guidance will be provided by a designated RN with recognized certification
  • May engage in case management duties, contingent on the qualifications of the unit manager
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficient in clear written and verbal communication, capable of conveying complex concepts across various platforms
  • Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations and communicate effectively through various mediums
  • Skilled in managing multiple, intricate projects and competing priorities simultaneously while ensuring strong customer service
  • Proficient in computer use and technical skills, particularly with MS Office applications including Excel
  • Knowledgeable about relevant laws, policies, and procedures within the designated area
  • Strong interpersonal skills, time management, and written communication abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and results-oriented mindset

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a diploma or Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred)
  • Current RN licensure in the state of operation
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience, ideally in rehabilitation
  • National certification (CRC, CIRS, CCRN, CVE, CCM, etc.), with CCM preferred
  • Proven experience in management or supervisory roles

COMPENSATION:

CorVel utilizes a market-based approach to compensation, and salary ranges may differ based on location. Pay rates are determined by various factors including federal, state, and local minimum wage laws, geographic location differentials, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions. Salary ranges are subject to change.

Salary Range: $74,421 – $114,904
