Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:

Omni Inclusive is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to support our Cell Therapy Development and Cell Therapy Operations teams. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for maintaining daily operations of lab equipment and instruments, troubleshooting and repairing issues, and collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure the viability of lab equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Troubleshoot, repair, and respond to emergent needs of lab equipment, including biosafety cabinets, temperature-sensitive units, cell counters, and label makers
* Clean and sterilize lab equipment and instruments
* Perform routine and non-routine maintenance of lab equipment, including temperature-sensitive units, analyzers, pipettes, and other scientific instruments
* Assist with general lab organization, efficiency, functionality, and productivity
* Interface with warehouse teams, facilities, EH&S, and end-user groups to ensure needs are being met, safety protocols are being followed, and news is properly communicated
* Collaborate with external partners to schedule and follow up on preventative and corrective service measures

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional groups
* Ability to quickly evaluate problems/areas for improvement and identify core issues or causes
* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help develop solutions and escalate ongoing issues to appropriate stakeholders
* Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook) and SharePoint
* General familiarity with scientific laboratory environment, safety, and operations

Preferred Qualifications:

* Scientific industry experience
* 5S/Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement experience

Work Environment:

This is a contracted position that requires 100% onsite availability, Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
