Job Title: Senior Bridge Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Design Engineer to join our team in Maryland. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for planning and designing bridge structures to ensure structural reliability, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform conventional and moderately complex bridge engineering tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Develop engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
  • Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
  • Commit to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking, and improved results.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • 8 years or more of related work experience with bridge engineering design.
  • BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis is required.
  • MS in Structural Engineering is desirable.
  • PE licensure is required at this level.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Microstation or AutoCAD.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry-standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software.
