Job Title: Final Documents Specialist

CrossCountry Mortgage is a leading mortgage lender with a strong culture of employee engagement and growth. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Final Documents Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Final Documents Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and inspecting trailing loan documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. This role will involve working with various stakeholders, including investors, settlement companies, and attorneys, to obtain missing documents and resolve any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and review incoming trailing documents, ensuring they are accurate and complete.
  • Perform data entry in our loan origination system (LOS) to mark documents as received and update the status of outstanding documents.
  • Monitor reports to identify aged trailing documents and follow up with stakeholders to obtain missing documents.
  • Work with investors, settlement companies, and attorneys to resolve any issues related to missing documents.
  • Prepare and review documents for recording, including Scrivener's Affidavits and Assignments.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of residential mortgage experience.
  • Knowledge of Ellie Mae Encompass 360.
  • Knowledge of mortgage loan documents and title work experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
