CrossCountry Mortgage, a leading mortgage lender, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Final Documents Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of trailing loan documents.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive and review incoming trailing documents, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Perform data entry in our LOS system, marking documents as received and updating the status.
  • Monitor and track outstanding documents, following up with settlement companies and attorneys as needed.
  • Prepare and obtain certified true copies of mortgage/deed of trust and final title policy copies when necessary.
  • Collaborate with investors, internal departments, and settlement/attorney offices to resolve defects and ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of residential mortgage experience.
  • Knowledge of Ellie Mae Encompass 360 and mortgage loan documents.
  • Excellent customer service skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
