Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage electrical projects, including design, planning, scheduling, and implementation.
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates and proposals, utilizing expertise in electrical systems and cost estimating.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, such as clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met and potential issues are anticipated and addressed.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring that work is on schedule and within budget, making necessary adjustments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors, negotiating contracts to achieve the best possible terms.
- Provide regular reports on project status to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in electrical project management and estimating in the commercial or industrial sectors.
- Proficient in electrical systems, including lighting, and cost estimating.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contract terms.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
