Automation Specialist

The Automation & Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for managing engineering projects to ensure they meet accuracy, deadlines, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify PLC programs to optimize system performance
- Oversee engineering releases, including technical drawings and material lists to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Design and evaluate electrical systems and components to ensure safety and efficiency
- Manage all aspects of design, including component selection and procurement to meet project requirements
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) for internal and customer reviews to ensure quality and reliability
- Provide feedback on customer requirements and design proposals to ensure alignment with project goals
- Travel to customer sites as needed and provide technical support to ensure successful project execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5-7 years' experience with PLC programming, particularly Allen Bradley
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to drive project success
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software to support project requirements
