- Lead the accreditation and accreditation renewal process, ensuring that the institution's academic programs meet the standards set by accrediting bodies.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and allocation of funds to support academic programs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to faculty and staff, promoting a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance academic programs, improve student outcomes, and increase diversity and inclusion.
- PhD, DNP, or related doctorate from an accredited institution.
- Eligibility for rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
- Eligibility for nursing licensure in New Mexico.
- Record of progressive leadership and development while overseeing major academic and scholarship programs.
- Demonstrated leadership in the mentorship and development of faculty, students, and staff.
- Experience with curricular development in undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Experience or knowledge with accreditation processes.
- Previous experience with academic and student affairs.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
The University of New Mexico is a research-intensive institution located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The College of Nursing is part of the Health Sciences Center, which includes New Mexico's only Level-1 Trauma Center. The University offers a competitive salary and outstanding benefits package.
