Job Summary
The University of New Mexico is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Afterschool Program Attendant. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about working with children and are committed to their academic and emotional success.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students from 3:00-5:30 PM Monday through Friday
- Assist Afterschool Program Directors with homework completion, individual tutoring, and supervising/facilitating indoor/outdoor activities
- Provide emotional support and be a positive role model for students
Requirements
- Experience working with children
- Confidence in working with large groups
- Emotional/Social support
About the Role
This is an Off-Campus Work-Study Position that requires a Work-Study Award. The Afterschool Program Attendant will work collaboratively with Directors and other Attendants to provide a supportive and engaging environment for students.
