Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Nursing Program Manager to join our team at Unitek Learning. As a key member of our academic/practice partnership team, you will be responsible for providing site supervision of nursing program activities, assisting with implementing special projects, and planning, developing, managing, updating, and evaluating all aspects of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide site supervision of nursing program activities
  • Assist with implementing special projects
  • Plan, develop, manage, update, and evaluate all aspects of the program
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure program success
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical partners
  • Ensure program compliance with Board and/or accreditor rules and regulations
Requirements
  • Master's or higher degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current valid and clear New Mexico Registered Nursing License (for locations located in NM); or Registered Nursing License from state in which WFD site is located
  • Minimum of one year teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs
  • One year's continuous experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care and/or equivalent experience as determined by the Board of Nursing
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
