IT Network Infrastructure Specialist

The IT Network Engineer plays a vital role in the daily operations of the Enterprise network. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining IT networks for Organizations' businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain IT network infrastructure systems, including hardware, software, and virtualization.
- Perform daily operations of the network infrastructure department, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with Senior Network Engineers, Network Administrators, and IT Operation Technicians on daily tasks and projects.
- Support data, voice, and video networks, and provide reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager.
- Assist with building, maintaining, and auditing IT network infrastructure-related documentation, including configuration, SOPs, service records, asset inventories, and topologies.
- Maintain and stay updated with knowledge and understanding of networking, security best practices, and technologies to support the organization's IT infrastructure.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineer or network administrator positions.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience with installing and configuring Cisco Network equipment, Cisco Catalyst switches, Routers, and IOS-XE Wireless Controllers.
- Experience with installing and configuring Network Firewalls, Cisco FTD, Meraki, and Palo Alto.
- Administrating Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, and Solarwinds products like Solarwinds Orion.
- Hands-on experience with standard IT Software and Hardware, including packet capture analyzer software and handheld network testing tools.
- Hands-on experience with Network and System Virtualization Platforms, VMware vSphere, Virtual box, Hyper-V, Virtual Machine, and Virtual Switches.
- Structured cable systems (Fiber and copper), including a good understanding of IDF or IT network closet power requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Required.
- Cisco Certified Specialist - (Enterprise or Security) a plus.
