We are seeking a highly skilled IT Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Rosen Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Design, install, configure, monitor, maintain, test, and troubleshoot IT network infrastructure, including data, voice, and video networks.
- Provide high-level support and technical expertise in IT Networking Infrastructure.
- Manage and resolve tasks and project assignments using ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with team members, customers, and other relevant departments.
- Participate in on-call rotation and various projects.
- Engineer enterprise data, voice, and video networks, including administration, operations, and maintenance.
- Implement and manage network virtualization and security appliances (firewalls).
- Assist in planning and designing network solutions, particularly hospitality-oriented infrastructure.
- Stay updated with Cisco Network and Security Enterprise solutions and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security regulations, including PCI, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Build, maintain, and audit IT network infrastructure documentation.
- Evaluate new hardware, software, and communication products for network compatibility.
- Mentor and provide cross-training to team members, assisting in the development of technical skills.
- Continuously update knowledge on networking and security best practices.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in network engineering roles.
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Data and Voice Network equipment, including Nexus and Catalyst switches, routers, wireless controllers, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE), Cisco Prime Infrastructure, and network monitoring systems.
- Experience with IT Virtualization environments like VMware, and knowledge of structured cabling systems.
- Familiarity with Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, as well as network services like DHCP, DNS, and SSL Certificates.
- Additional experience in the hospitality and convention events industry is highly preferred.
