Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of a maintenance department and supervise a team responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of fleet. This role is responsible for ensuring all repairs and/or maintenance to equipment is performed in accordance with Company safety and compliance standards, and with all federal/state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance department and supervise a team of maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure all repairs and/or maintenance to equipment is performed in accordance with Company safety and compliance standards, and with all federal/state regulations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to develop and implement maintenance budgets and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of parts and services.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance metrics, including equipment uptime, downtime, and maintenance costs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance or operations role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a team and achieving maintenance goals.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
