About the Position

As a Regional Service Manager at Kenco Material Handling Solutions, you will oversee and support Service Managers and technicians in their day-to-day activities within an assigned region to meet the company's goals and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operations procedures and guidelines to ensure customer repair orders, installations, or PM visits are completed in a professional and timely manner to maintain solid profit margins.
  • Provide direction and guidance to Service Managers and technicians for operational excellence, monitor training processes to ensure quality training of employees, and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Establish goals and objectives for Service Managers and technicians to meet current and future service needs.
  • Ensure Service Managers and technicians maintain a service billing efficiency ratio of at least 75%.
  • Measure and increase technician utilization to at least 85%.
  • Address all service and warranty issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and ensure the profitability of planned maintenance programs.
  • Ensure training targets are achieved and maintained in all areas where training expectations are established.
  • Interact with key customers to resolve issues that require escalation and work with customer groups to ensure all service needs are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in field service or operations, preferably with material handling or similar equipment.
  • Excellent communication, planning, negotiating, troubleshooting, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading and managing teams while demonstrating a flexible and adaptable work style.
  • Sophisticated interpersonal and people management skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytically-minded, with the ability to solve problems independently and in teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills preferred.

Travel Requirements

  • This position requires approximately 50% to 75% travel.
