The Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist III demonstrates the necessary knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care to patients within the department.

This role requires an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, along with the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's specific needs and provide care as outlined in departmental policies and procedures.
The specialist will deliver healthcare services utilizing x-ray technology to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
Responsibilities include performing computed tomography and related procedures to create sectional anatomical images for interpretation; exercising professional judgment in service delivery while maintaining a demeanor consistent with medical ethics.
The specialist will provide services to patients across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program, and active membership in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and ARRT (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
Documented competence specific to the Nuclear Medicine position is required.
