Job Summary and Qualifications
The Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist III demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in the department.

- Exhibits understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs, providing care as outlined in departmental policies and procedures.
- Provides healthcare services utilizing x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
- Performs computed tomography and related procedures to produce sectional anatomic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
- Exercises professional judgment in service performance and maintains a demeanor consistent with medical ethics.
- Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful procedure completion.
- Delivers services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
What qualifications you will need:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program and a member in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and ARRT (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B).
- Must be licensed by the State of Nevada.- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Demonstrates documented competence specific to the Nuclear Medicine position.
- Registered A.R.R.T, (N), or N.M.T.C.B.
