The Medical Imaging Specialist III – Cardio is a critical role in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Sunrise Hospital. This position requires a high level of expertise in cardiac ultrasound services and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide cardiac ultrasound services to patients, utilizing advanced equipment and technology to obtain high-quality images and diagnoses.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses, and to develop effective treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Provide clinical experience and training for students in the Echo Department.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of a recognized 1-2-year non-invasive cardiology program with emphasis in cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Licensed by the State of Nevada.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Minimum one-year clinical experience in an acute care facility with demonstrated proficiency in cardiac sonography.
- A.R.D.M.S registry eligible.
- R.D.C.S in adult echocardiography and registry eligible in pediatric echocardiography preferred.
