Position: Junior Associate in Real Estate Litigation

We are a prominent legal practice dedicated to real estate litigation, committed to delivering exceptional legal representation to owners and managers of multifamily housing and mixed-use properties. We are currently seeking a driven Junior Litigation Associate to enhance our vibrant real estate litigation division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for clients in legal proceedings concerning multifamily housing and mixed-use real estate.
  • Oversee a substantial caseload, ensuring meticulous organization and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to formulate and execute litigation strategies.
  • Engage closely with clients in the real estate and property management sectors.
  • Address various facets of litigation and risk management challenges.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, including law school or clerkship.
  • Admission to the Washington, D.C. bar is mandatory; Virginia bar admission is advantageous.
  • Open to candidates with experience in public or non-profit litigation.
  • Strong organizational abilities and capacity to handle multiple cases concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Prior courtroom experience is beneficial, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
