Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and reassessments of patients, identifying areas for improvement and developing personalized plans to address nutritional needs.
- Implement and monitor the effectiveness of nutritional interventions, including meal planning, nutrition education, and counseling.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans that address nutritional needs and promote overall health and well-being.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and disease management.
- Mentor and supervise dietetic technicians and students, promoting professional development and growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and advance the field.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field.
- Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
