Vitamin Department Manager

At Sprouts Farmers Market, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vitamin Manager to lead our Vitamin Department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving sales and operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a deep knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty items.
Responsibilities- Lead the Vitamin Department, driving sales and operations to achieve business goals
- Provide exceptional customer service, offering knowledgeable guidance on supplements, health and beauty, and related products
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty items, staying up-to-date on market trends and product information
- Order product and manage inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste
- Oversee sales and promotional events, collaborating with the Buyer and Store Manager to determine inventory and drive sales
- Engage and evaluate team members through coaching, feedback, and one-on-one development discussions, making recommendations on merit increases
- Regularly attend and participate in in-store meetings, staying informed on company initiatives and goals
- Recruit, hire, and make promotion/transfer decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager
- Exercise independent judgment to address Team Member concerns, taking and documenting corrective actions when needed
- Create and adjust schedules and staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency
- Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members
- At least 18 years of age and a minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership experience
- Good communication skills, with the ability to give and take direction
- Perform general housekeeping in the department, including cleaning and dusting
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Be willing to gain education on new products and alternative health
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to perform physical demands, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
