Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping customers make informed decisions about their health and wellness by providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing and merchandising the Vitamin and Health Supplement department to maximize productivity and profitability.
  • Oversee ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
  • Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
  • Lead a team in delivering exceptional customer service and product knowledge to customers.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products to provide guidance and recommendations to customers.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, mentor, and motivate the Vitamin team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Unload and sort through store deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age and a minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties.
  • Dependable and reliable with the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Outgoing and friendly behavior, positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers.
  • Good communication skills and ability to give and take direction in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform general housekeeping in the department, including cleaning and dusting.
  • Adherence to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.
  • Willingness to gain education on new products and alternative health.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
