Job Overview

As an Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, you will play a key role in helping customers make informed decisions about their health and wellness. You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of vitamin and health product specialists, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and guidance on supplements, health and beauty products, and related items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and merchandise the vitamin and health product department to maximize productivity and profit
  • Assist in ordering and inventory control, product quality, and supervision of the vitamin and health product team
  • Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
  • Lead a team that brainstorms to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and greatest experience for customers
  • Ensure customers receive the best possible service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and body items in the department
  • Recruit, hire, develop, mentor, and motivate the vitamin and health product team
  • Unload and sort through store deliveries
  • Ensure execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age and a minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties
  • Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Outgoing and friendly behavior, with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to give and take direction while maintaining a team environment
  • Ability to perform general housekeeping in the department, clean and dust
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
  • Willingness to gain education on new products and alternative health
