Job Title: Refugee Youth Program Coordinator

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the Refugee Youth Program in Baltimore. As a Refugee Youth Program Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing case management services to refugee youth and their families, ensuring their successful integration into the U.S. education system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with case management activities, including school registrations, appointments for immunizations, home visits, and other referrals.
  • Support facilitation of weekly evening tutoring and mentoring program.
  • Assist with required documentation, such as case-noting and case file preparation.
  • Collaborate with the youth services team to provide direct services to refugee families.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience and/or interest working with refugees and immigrants.
  • Prior experience and/or interest in case management, social work, or education.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
  • Flexible and reliable, with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and web-based applications.
  • Fluency in English required; bilingual ability in one of the predominant languages of the local client base desired.
