With the same licensing as our Financial Advisors, Junior Financial Consultants partner with an established Financial Advisor to assist clients, expand the branch, and contribute positively to the community in line with our strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
  • Collecting information and assessing suitability to gain a deep understanding of clients' needs, priorities, and concerns, fostering trust and creating personalized strategies to meet their goals.
  • Regularly meeting with clients to monitor progress towards their objectives, identify additional assets, proactively address emerging issues, and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborating with other professionals in clients' networks, such as attorneys and accountants, to fully comprehend their goals and circumstances.
  • Analyzing portfolio performance, costs, asset allocation, and investment strategies, and providing recommendations to clients.
  • Working alongside the Financial Advisor and branch team to ensure alignment and develop, monitor, and refine the branch business plan to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Building relationships with local organizations and businesses to maintain community presence and generate referrals.
  • Partnering with the Financial Advisor to assist in acquiring new clients through various sourcing strategies.
  • Committing to personal and professional development for continuous growth.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required; if not currently registered, these can be obtained during the designated study period at Edward Jones.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the securities industry preferred.
  • FINRA licenses must be obtained within three months. State insurance licenses are also required.
  • As an associate, you are expected to complete all ongoing training provided by the firm and regulatory bodies, as well as any necessary training to maintain your licenses.
