The LSCU & Affiliates serves nearly 300 credit unions, providing essential advocacy, regulatory insights, educational resources, cooperative initiatives, media relations, and business solutions to empower our member credit unions in their mission of 'People Helping People.' As a Business Development Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include marketing and selling our Growth by Design (GBD), Credit Union Vendor Management (CUVM), and Affiliates Consolidated Services (ACS) offerings to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Your role will involve crafting and implementing a growth strategy, organizing coordinated events to promote GBD, CUVM, and ACS products and services. Acting as both a process expert and a sales and marketing consultant for new and existing clients, you will actively seek out and recruit new clients and markets, employing lead generation and innovative sales techniques to expand our business reach and meet established sales goals through effective networking. Responsibilities will also include assisting clients in identifying their needs, developing tailored solutions from ACS offerings, and presenting comprehensive proposals for products and services. This will involve securing new contracts and renewing existing ones, coordinating delivery schedules, and managing all details necessary for successful sales closures. Additionally, you will stay updated on all GBD, CUVM, and ACS products and services, as well as broader industry trends, while meticulously documenting all phases of activity, including problem tracking to identify trends and updating Salesforce with relevant client information.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in a management-related business field is preferred.
  2. 2-5 years of proven sales experience with a successful track record.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Schedule:

The standard work schedule for the Business Development Consultant role is Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend commitments. Onsite presence in the office is required for a specified number of days, and moderate travel is expected. Travel arrangements may include both airline and car transportation, and a valid driver's license is mandatory.
