Role Summary

The Nurse Practitioner will deliver direct patient care within the inpatient environment, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of specialists in noninvasive, interventional, structural heart, electrophysiology, and heart failure medicine.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying urgent diagnostic information and effectively communicating with physician colleagues.
  • Prescribing, dispensing, and administering therapeutic measures in accordance with established protocols and collaborative relationships.
  • Demonstrating a strong passion for cardiology and adaptability in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.

Work Schedule

Full Time Day Shift – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with one weekend per month required, and no overnight shifts.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant Master's Program
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Connecticut
  • Preferred experience in cardiology, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
