About the Role
Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Cardiology team. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct care to patients in the inpatient setting, collaborating with noninvasive, interventional, structural heart, electrophysiology, and heart failure physicians.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the inpatient setting, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Identify diagnostic information that requires emergent attention and communicate timely information to physician colleagues.
- Prescribe, dispense, and administer therapeutic and corrective measures, in accordance with the Advanced Practitioner's scope of practice and collaborative relationships.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in cardiology.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant Master's Program.
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a NP or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Connecticut.
- Experience in cardiology preferred, with new graduates welcome to apply.
