Career Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Development Specialist to join our team at Dynamic Workforce Solutions. As a Career Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that job seekers develop the skills and knowledge needed to achieve their career goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance and support to job seekers to help them maintain employment and achieve their career objectives.
- Enter data into automated systems to track participant progress and outcomes.
- Identify and remove barriers to employment and retention, and develop strategies to overcome them.
- Document case records and prepare reports to track participant progress and program effectiveness.
- Guide customers through a range of activities to meet their job retention needs, including employment seminars and individual consultations.
- Market open positions to program participants through various channels.
- Conduct follow-up activities with exited program participants and employers to ensure successful outcomes.
- Support participant employability plans through coordination with Career Navigators.
- Develop content for website and social media platforms to promote program services and outcomes.
- Research and implement retention enhancement strategies and protocols to improve program effectiveness.
- Address the unique needs and barriers of participants, and create an inclusive environment for all individuals.
- Utilize Extreme Customer Service behaviors in all interactions with internal and external customers.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
- Three years relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Prefer knowledge of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
- Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to gather information, analyze, articulate, and present solutions for complex problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage.
