Job Description

Aviation Service Partners Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance organization, the Chief Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and regulatory compliance in our maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Develop, implement, and monitor the inspection program to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and manufacturers' specifications.
  • Inspection and Quality Control: Perform thorough inspections of aircraft, components, and maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company policies.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Develop and maintain inspection procedures, manuals, and documentation systems to ensure thorough and accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Regulatory Agency Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, representing the company during audits, inspections, and investigations.
  • Training and Development: Develop and maintain all required Part 145 manuals, including the development of forms as necessary, and oversee the complete record-keeping associated with the training program.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and direct personnel assigned to the Quality Control Department, including personnel delegated inspection functions.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: At least 15 years of Part 145 experience, with at least 5 years as an inspector
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's License, A&P (Airframe & Power Plant), I/A (Inspector Authorization)
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management or other related aviation degree
  • Experience: 10+ years of Part 145 experience, with at least 3 years as an inspector
