Role Overview:

We are currently in search of a skilled Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team in Houston, TX. Our focus is on surpassing customer expectations and fostering long-term relationships with our clients. The Aviation Maintenance Technician will report directly to their supervisor and is responsible for executing all assigned tasks in compliance with the established policies, procedures, and specifications set forth by the company, relevant regulatory bodies, and manufacturers as outlined in approved technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct line maintenance (both scheduled and on-call) on a variety of aircraft.
  • Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness inspections, ensuring aircraft are returned to service safely.
  • Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components, meeting performance goals and deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble components to ensure optimal functionality according to approved technical data.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and air carrier/manufacturer manuals, maintaining accurate documentation of all work performed.
  • Engage in line maintenance activities and tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance control center of the air carrier as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in line maintenance, with a focus on troubleshooting and turn checks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and utilize hand dexterity; capable of climbing, balancing, bending, and crawling, including working at heights.
  • Ability to lift, push, or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Adept at working in environments with moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and exposure to loud noises.
  • Visual acuity for operating equipment and interpreting technical information.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, to accommodate customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with B747/767 aircraft types.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with flight crews.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision.
