Position: Lead A&P Mechanic

Aviation Service Partners (ASP) is on the lookout for a skilled Lead A&P Mechanic who possesses a wealth of experience in guiding and mentoring a team of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) and Aircraft Support Mechanics (ASMs). Your role will involve the repair, inspection, assembly, testing, and reactivation of commercial aircraft. We pride ourselves on providing top-tier Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, superior quality, and unmatched reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations, repairs, removals, replacements, assemblies, and tests on aircraft components, including engines, power brake units, and fuel tanks, utilizing hand tools and testing equipment while adhering to Aircraft & Component Manuals and manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid A&P License.
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of repair experience with commercial aircraft.
  • Demonstrated understanding of routine work aspects.
  • Proficient knowledge of machinery and tools, including their maintenance and repair.
  • Familiarity with customer service principles and processes.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of FAA regulations regarding aircraft maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend manufacturer and FAA-approved work instructions, including the inspection and installation of parts/components.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Must be capable of wearing a respirator as per OSHA regulations.
  • Willingness to undergo random drug and alcohol testing as mandated by FAA regulations.
  • Adherence to company values and compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Continuous improvement mindset towards processes and procedures.
  • Possession of essential tools as required for the position.
  • Flexibility to perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site is necessary.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
