Auto Parts Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Parts Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our customers' experiences by managing the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching, and returning parts for each repair order. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the WOW plan consistently to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate customer requests and needs to the appropriate team members.
- Work with vendors to order and receive parts, verifying quality, correctness, and quantity.
- Distribute parts to the shop in accordance with the production schedule.
- Enter parts invoices into the Management Information System (MIS).
- Label and track parts by R.O.# and store them with the vehicle and/or scheduled repairs.
- Order and receive supplemental parts, monitor performance, and ensure daily reconciliation of vendor invoices.
- Post and file invoices and credit memos in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper profit margins by ensuring vendor invoices have the correct negotiated discount.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts is a bonus).
- Customer Service Oriented and strong organizational ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands.
- I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).
