Job Summary

The E-Mail/Chat Customer Service Representative has direct interaction with customers by email/chat and is responsible for recommending products, resolving inquiries, and processing orders while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent online customer service etiquette and strong customer relationship skills when responding to customer questions and concerns.
  • Contribute to quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy of communications to customers and improve customer satisfaction with products.
  • Learn software used by the company to navigate listings, locate customer information, and look up data about products.
  • Work in a high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to three years related customer service experience in a high-volume environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong typing, spelling, and grammar skills are a must.
  • Proficient computer user and knowledge of the internet.
  • ASE Certified is a plus.
  • Parts Counter or mechanics experience is a plus.
