Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our team and help drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a sales managerial position within the transportation/logistics industry. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, preparing operational and financial reports, and overseeing the management and development of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to showcase Trans International's services
  • Prepare and analyze operational and financial sales department reports
  • Lead the management, learning, and career development of the sales team
  • Coordinate cross-selling and joint marketing initiatives to maximize exposure and profitability
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory
  • Sell a range of logistical solutions, including distribution, Mexico, drayage, over the road, and brokerage
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Collaborate with the dispatch/operations team to drive revenue growth and explore new revenue opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of sales experience within the transportation/logistics industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong strategic relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and work independently
