Position Overview:
A federal client of Insight Global is seeking a Healthcare Terminology Specialist to become an integral part of their team.

This role involves the curation and management of vaccine codeset content utilizing the Clinical Architecture Symedical software, along with publishing to content portals as required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to federal badging, GFE security protocols, and complete annual training relevant to contractor personnel.
- Collaborate with the senior terminologist to gain insights on best practices for content curation and management, while assisting in these activities.
- Revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials as needed.
- Participate in data partner meetings as directed by the client and federal representatives.
- Provide technical support to end users regarding vaccine codeset content as necessary.
- Assist with any surge support requirements identified and funded by the federal client.

Compensation:
$45-$55/HR

Qualifications:
- Previous CDC Badged experience.
- Background in Medical or Pharmaceutical fields.
- Familiarity with Symedical software.
- Over 5 years of terminology experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Public Health with a Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of data terminology standards and USCDI standards.
- Familiarity with terms such as CVX, SNOMED, CT, LOINC, CPT.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Health Informatics
- HL7 messaging and interoperability standards
- FDA drug databases or vendor-provided drug compendia (e.g., FDB, Multum)
- Understanding of provider clinical or immunization workflows and electronic health record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech).
- Knowledge of health billing revenue cycle coding.
