Nutrition Care Specialist Job Summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will provide clinical nutrition consultation and support to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families on disease-specific diets and nutrition therapies.
  • Document patient information and progress in our electronic medical record system.
  • Participate in team rounds and contribute to the development of nutrition care policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field from a U.S. regionally accredited university or college.
  • Registration and licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric nutrition or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
