Position Summary:
We are currently looking for a Clinical Nutrition Specialist (Hourly-PRN) to join our dedicated Nutrition Team within a healthcare facility. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive optimal nutritional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive medical nutrition therapy, including assessments, dietary modifications, nutrition education, and interventions tailored to the patient population.
  • Adhere to all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Provide training and mentorship to patient services staff and interns as necessary.
  • Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State licensure as required by the Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board.
  • Preferred: Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
