Position Overview

French & Parrello Associates is seeking a dedicated Geospatial Project Coordinator to join our innovative survey team. We pride ourselves on fostering an environment where your career aspirations can flourish.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in our expanding Survey division, utilizing cutting-edge surveying technologies. Our headquarters is located in Wall, New Jersey.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Leadership experience in a professional environment is advantageous.
  • Technical proficiency is essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD 3D and the ability to work with DTM surfaces.
  • Experience in boundary resolution and ALTA Surveys is required.
  • Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Deltek-Vison is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills are required.
  • Strong time management abilities are essential.
  • Ability to effectively interact with diverse individuals.
  • Candidates should be organized, self-motivated, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in managing field crews and survey technicians is preferred.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience with robotic total stations, GPS, leveling, field procedures, and boundary analysis is necessary.
  • Ability to manage projects ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.
  • Flexibility in daily schedule start times is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Capability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement work plans and oversee staffing needs for projects.
  • Responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising team members.
  • Lead the team by providing clear project scope explanations.
  • Generate reports from accounting software for accurate project tracking.
  • Manage project scope, budget, and quality assurance/control for assigned tasks.
  • Develop and implement procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Analyze performance data (financial, budgets, sales, and activity reports) to evaluate productivity and goal achievement.
  • Represent the company at meetings and presentations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our service offerings.
  • Prepare proposals and change orders as needed.
  • Review contracts and project documentation for accuracy and completeness.
