Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day supervision of field-related construction activities at our multi-family project in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the construction process from initial development to final acceptance of buildings.
  • Manage and plan schedules for all trades, ensuring timely and economic completion of the project.
  • Hold contractors accountable for their performance and ensure adherence to payment terms.
  • Implement managerial oversight, company policies, and industry standards into the construction plans and contracts.
  • Directly inspect each trade's work and approve invoicing according to contract payment terms.
  • Manage subordinate staff, oversee the quality of construction, and ensure safety on the job site.
  • Facilitate weekly subcontractor meetings for planning, scheduling, quality control, and safety issues.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and supervise a diverse group of individuals.
  • Energetic, self-starter with a solid work ethic.
  • Attentive to details on plans and contracts.
  • Ability to review and interpret plans specifications and contracts.
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow and enforce OSHA guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license.
