Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Supervisor to join our team at Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the intake and distribution of all components and materials used by our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager in evaluating requests and needs for raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods, and outside services.
  • Provide direction and leadership by working with the purchasing/shipping/receiving teams.
  • Communicate the purchasing status and information in building and materials, parts, and services.
  • Modify processes and procedures for shipping, receiving, transport, and inventory control.
  • Document and analyze all material's quality, movement, and use.
  • Work together with other managers and unit heads within the company to determine the company's supply needs.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and turnover to allow production.
  • Ensure that inventory is available and distributed across the organization to meet performance goals.
  • Follow up with suppliers.
  • Ensure project schedules and quality standards are met.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Responsible for making sure that the following KPI's are met; O.T.D., Stock in Days and Year-End Inventory.
  • Act as a backup for the Scheduling Team so there isn't a gap in information and shop orders for internal and external customers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a mid-level production industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Must possess excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have computer/PC skills.
  • Key words: Materials Supervisor, Procurement, Supply Chain Supervisor, Production Planning, Purchasing, Infor XA manufacturing ERP system – Enterprise Resource Planning, MRP – Materials Requirements Planning, Buying, Analytical, Problem Solving, Supervisor, Professional.
  • Bachelor's degree, US citizenship, green card, perm resident is required.
