Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. This role collaborates with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, to plan, implement and evaluate care. The RN cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate care and resident assessment
- Educate residents on their care plan
- Provide nursing interventions as needed
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Ongoing education and certifications required
Estimated Salary: $43,000 - $65,000 per year
