Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing subordinate teams overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and are required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system.
  • Develop sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution.
  • Act as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office.
  • Responsibility for and direction of all phases of the subcontract; from initiation of the business case for 'make or buy' decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability and program execution.
  • Make decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor.
  • Establish milestone objectives and manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications.
  • Lead team normally composed of engineers, quality and procurement personnel.

Requirements

  • Experience as a strategic thinker with regard to the procurement process and the state of the F-35 program in order to identify risks and proactively mitigate said risks
  • Experience in Proposal and Capture activities
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARs and DoD procurement policies and practices
  • Professional communicator and a team leader
  • Advanced Project management experience, to execute complex project planning
  • Create solutions for complex procurement challenges and present those solutions to senior management and customers
