Position: Supply Chain Process Analyst

Location: Houston, TX

Compensation: $85,000 + bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and assess current supply chain operations to pinpoint areas needing enhancement.
  • Develop comprehensive process maps to illustrate existing workflows and identify inefficiencies.
  • Formulate and execute strategies aimed at process enhancements, with a focus on boosting efficiency, minimizing costs, and optimizing resource use.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams, including procurement, logistics, production, and IT, to ensure alignment of process improvement initiatives with business objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of process enhancements and monitor progress over time.
  • Conduct root cause analyses to uncover fundamental issues in supply chain processes and propose corrective measures.
  • Assist in the integration of innovative technologies and systems that improve supply chain functions, such as ERP systems, automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.
  • Prepare in-depth reports and presentations for management, summarizing insights, recommendations, and the effects of implemented changes.
  • Provide training and support to personnel on new processes, tools, and systems to ensure effective adoption.
  • Lead supply chain enhancement projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related analytics.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is preferred.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or SQL is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and analytical skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Excel spreadsheets.
