Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Billing Clerk to join our team in Seattle, WA. This 6-month contract position will be fully onsite at the client location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate accurate invoices for clients and customers based on contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements.
  • Monitor and record incoming payments from clients and customers, ensuring timely processing.
  • Reconcile billing accounts to ensure accurate financial operations.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve billing-related inquiries and disputes.
  • Input billing information into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process billing adjustments, credit memos, and account discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Generate reports on billing activities, outstanding balances, and payment status.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
  • Previous experience in billing, accounting, or clerical roles is preferred.
  • Proficiency with billing software, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and accounting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing and verifying billing data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal departments.

Compensation: $25-$30/hour DOE
