The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with expertise in cloud communication, sensor integration, electronics driver development, robotics navigation and control, and CI/CD processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of software and hardware knowledge in robotics, with a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software for autonomous mobile robots, ensuring seamless integration with hardware components.
  • Implement algorithms for path planning, motion control, and obstacle avoidance, utilizing machine learning techniques for improved robot autonomy.
  • Manage cloud communication services, especially AWS, for enhanced connectivity and data processing, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Develop drivers and interfaces for sensors and electronic components, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
  • Establish tools and processes for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), streamlining software development and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for software integration, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Apply machine learning techniques for improved robot autonomy, enhancing navigation and control capabilities.
  • Conduct software testing and debugging, ensuring high-quality and reliable software.
  • Stay updated on the latest in robotics software and technology, applying knowledge to improve existing systems and develop new solutions.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers, sharing expertise and knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as robotics, computer science, or engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in robotics software development, with a strong focus on cloud communication, sensor integration, and CI/CD processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or ROS, with experience in developing software for autonomous systems.
  • Experience with cloud services for communication and data processing, especially AWS, with knowledge of scalability and reliability.
  • Experience in developing sensor and electronics drivers, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
  • Proven experience in building CI/CD processes, streamlining software development and deployment.
  • Skills in algorithm development and problem-solving, with a strong focus on robotics and automation.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
