Position: Senior Robotics Software Engineer

Role Overview:
- A highly proficient and seasoned expert with a strong background in cloud communication, sensor integration, electronics driver development, robotics navigation, and control systems, as well as CI/CD methodologies.
- A solid combination of software and hardware expertise in robotics, ideally holding a Master's degree or higher in a pertinent discipline.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance software for autonomous mobile robots
  • Implement algorithms for trajectory planning, motion management, and obstacle detection
  • Oversee cloud communication services, particularly AWS, to improve connectivity and data management
  • Create drivers and interfaces for sensors and electronic systems
  • Establish tools and workflows for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for software integration
  • Utilize machine learning methodologies to enhance robot autonomy
  • Conduct software validation and troubleshooting
  • Keep abreast of advancements in robotics software and technology
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in robotics software engineering
  • Expertise in Python, C++, or ROS
  • Experience with cloud platforms for communication and data management
  • Background in developing sensor and electronics drivers
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing CI/CD processes
  • Strong skills in algorithm development and analytical problem-solving
  • Exceptional communication abilities and teamwork skills
