Behavioral Therapist Opportunity

Nucleus Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our team in Landenberg, Pennsylvania. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing individual and group training to educational staff, behaviorists, administrators, and parents on behavior change techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance in behavior modification for complex cases involving students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate as a consultant with school and agency personnel to promote best practices in behavior management.
  • Conduct and support Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Functional Behavior Analyses (FBA).
  • Develop and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) for students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
  • Ensure fidelity in the implementation of behavior intervention plans.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development of behavior goals and interventions.
  • Ensure services and documents align with best practices within ABA and are consistent with research-validated methods and PDE-supported procedures.
  • Offer expertise and mentorship to educational staff on behavior intervention strategies and positive behavior supports.

Requirements:

  • BCBA Certification Required
  • Years' experience in the direct delivery of behavior analytic services to people with autism spectrum disorders/behavioral challenges as a BCBA preferred.
  • 1-year experience consulting/working within a school preferred.
  • Master's degree from a behaviorally-based, accredited college/university in special education, psychology or other related field
