As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical growth and development of our plant and field teams in the West Region, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Align learning experiences with existing competency maps for all technical roles.
- Develop and deploy learning experiences to drive technical competency growth and ensure technical competency assurance.
- Deliver comprehensive technical training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of plant and field staff.
- Develop and implement on-the-job training opportunities to decrease time to competence for technical staff.
- Support all technical training programs, including StrongStart, Basic Services Course, and Plant Manager training.
- Monitor, report, and steward technical training KPIs and metrics.
- Work with stakeholders to review and recommend improvements to existing competency maps.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the development of new competencies and competency maps.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, technology advancements, and market trends.
- Collaborate with Regional leadership to develop regional training/competency strategy and succession planning.
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of field experience.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Ability to steer effective communications via a defined communication approach.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans and drive results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Motivated individual with proven self-starting capabilities to create innovative solutions.
- Deep knowledge of multiple VWTS technologies and processes.
- Prior experience teaching or mentoring technical skills.
- Superior presentation skills.
- Strong collaboration and planning skills.
- Prior experience or ability to learn basic e-learning authorware.
